Terms of use

These are the terms for using Satori, run by Satori ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; what is done with your account is your responsibility. You can delete it at any time from Settings.

Credits

  • Credits are bought in advance and spent on what the assistant does, at the prices on the pricing page.
  • Starting a session holds credits (40 for an interview) so it cannot run out part way. What it does not use is returned when it ends.
  • An answer that fails is not charged. An answer is charged once, whichever AI provider writes it.
  • Credits do not expire, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred to another account.
  • If prices change, credits you already hold keep working at the prices on the pricing page at the time you use them.

Plans

  • A plan grants its credits at the start of each period and renews automatically until you stop it. The price and the number of credits are the ones on the pricing page when you subscribe.
  • Cancel whenever you like, from Billing. The plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed; credits already granted stay in your balance and do not expire.
  • If a renewal payment fails we keep retrying for a short while and tell you on the Billing page. Credits granted for periods already paid for are unaffected.
  • Changing plan takes effect as Stripe prorates it; the new plan's credits arrive with its first paid invoice.

Payments and refunds

Payments are taken by Stripe, in the currency shown at checkout. If you have not used a purchase and want your money back, ask us; we handle refund requests fairly and as consumer law where you live requires. Changing or cancelling a plan, updating your card and your invoices are all handled through Stripe, from the Billing page.

Using it responsibly

  • Follow the rules of the call you are in. Some interviews and exams forbid any assistance. Whether you may use Satori in a given call is for you to check, and yours to answer for.
  • Recording needs consent. The assistant listens to the other side of the call. In some places everyone on a call must agree to that. Make sure they have.
  • Check what it says. Answers are written by AI and can be wrong, out of date, or not true of you. You decide what you say.
  • Do not use it to break the law, to harass anyone, or to get around its limits, and do not resell access to it.

The service

We work to keep Satori running and answering, but it depends on AI providers and networks we do not control, and it is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or always right. So far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for more than you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits rights the law does not let us limit.

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. We may change them; if a change matters, it will be posted here with a new date before it applies to you.
