How your data is handled
Satori is run by Satori. This page says what we keep, what we do not, who else sees it, and how to delete it — in plain terms.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, and your password in a form that cannot be read back.
- Your credits: every purchase, hold, charge and return, so your balance can always be explained.
- Your sessions: what you set up (company, role, job description, instructions, settings), and what happened in them — the transcript, the answers, the notes written afterwards, and any feedback you leave.
- Your CVs and documents: the text, with each version of a CV you save. A file you upload is read in your browser; only its text reaches us, never the file.
What we do not keep
- Call audio. In the browser, each sentence is sent to be transcribed and the audio is discarded once it has been. In the Windows app, the audio is transcribed on your PC and never sent anywhere.
- Screenshots. A screen you send for an answer is read and discarded; the answer is kept, the image is not.
- Card details. Payments are taken by Stripe. We receive the amount, the currency and whether it succeeded — never the card.
Who else processes it
AI providers, to write answers, notes and analyses. For each answer we send the question, the recent conversation, your instructions, and the parts of your CV, job description and documents it needs; for a screen question, the screenshot. Depending on how the service is configured and which provider is available, that is Anthropic, OpenAI or Google. Each handles it under its own API terms: Anthropic and OpenAI do not train their models on data sent through their APIs by default; Google may use data sent through the free tier of its Gemini API to improve its products, and does not on paid use.
Transcription, in the browser only: each sentence of call audio goes to OpenAI's speech recognition and the text comes back. The Windows app does this on your PC instead.
Stripe, to take payments. Our server stores everything listed above; no other company receives it.
Your choices
- How long transcripts are kept — until you delete them, 30 days, or only until the notes are written. Set it in Settings; the database enforces it, not just the page.
- Delete a transcript or a whole session from the session's page. What it cost stays in your billing history.
- Download everything we hold about you, from Settings, as a file you can read.
- Delete your account from Settings. Your sessions, transcripts, CVs, documents and credits are removed with it. Records of payments are kept for accounting, without anything that links them to you.
In your browser
Your sign-in is kept in your browser's storage so you stay signed in. There are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
On your PC
The Windows app keeps its settings and a history of the sessions it ran on your PC, readable only by your Windows account. Uninstalling it, or deleting its folder in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Satori, removes them.
